The below illustrations are vector-based images. The top image shows the paths that are created to outline a series of shadows, colors, gradients and meshes to create a realistic drawing. Unlike pixel based formats such as jpg., tiff, and Photoshop formats, vector files are fully scalable.
Vector files can be scaled to any size and not lose image quality. This is perfect for offset printing, large signage and many other uses. You can make these images as large as you want without losing resolution.  |
